TRANSUE LAB
Research
We are a new research group at the University of Pittsburgh studying the synthesis of designer molecules with strictly controlled geometric and electronic structures. We aim to use our expertise in synthesis and spectroscopy to increase the role of molecules in quantum information science by fine-tuning their physical properties. Students will receive training in inorganic synthesis and a variety of characterization methods, including density functional theory, spectroscopy, magnetism, X-ray crystallography, and more.
